I made this bookmark as a gift for my friend’s birthday.

It has been a very long time since I’ve crafted things, so I’m out of practice.
I think I can’t draw very well anymore, so I used an old drawing I had, cut some bits out, and then laid it on top of another drawing I had.
A leaf came off, so I used it for the tip of the tassel.
I’ve been wanting to learn how to weave. I don’t have a loom, and don’t really know how to, but watching YouTube tutorials I thought I could finger weave the tassel!
I was wrong though, so I ended up improvising a loom.
Then my oldest gifted me a toy loom!
So I had more room to work.
Then I just had to join the card to the tassel. In retrospect I wish I had used fabric, instead of paper. Maybe next time!
As usual, it looked better in my mind’s eye, but I did end up with a birthday present for my friend. I hope it’s useful!
